With Hardship Comes Ease: A Reminder of Hope and Faith
You know, there’s one verse from the Qur’an that gives me so much strength. It’s from Surah Al-Inshirah, verse 6, where Allah says:
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”
This verse is so powerful. It reminds us that no matter what we’re going through, it won’t last forever. Pain doesn’t come to stay it comes with a purpose. And ease is already written alongside it, even if we can’t see it yet.
Sometimes life feels really heavy. We get tired, overwhelmed, maybe even sad or unmotivated. There are moments when we feel like giving up. But this verse reminds us that every struggle we face is not in vain. Allah sees every tear, every moment of silence, every hidden burden in our hearts.
So don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep showing up for your salah even when it’s hard, especially when it’s hard. That effort you’re making? It’s not wasted.
This test you’re facing right now? It’s temporary. It’s not here to destroy you it’s here to build you. Allah is strengthening your heart, purifying your soul, and preparing you for something better.
Let me give you a simple example.
Imagine someone loses their job. It feels like the end of the world they’re stressed, confused, maybe scared about the future. But a few months later, they get offered a new job. It’s even better more fulfilling, better pay, and more peace. That earlier hardship? It was the path that led to something greater. That’s the ease Allah promised.
Or take another example someone going through emotional pain, heartbreak, or loneliness. It hurts. But during that time, they turn to Allah more than ever. They make sincere du’a. They start praying Tahajjud. And little by little, Allah brings peace into their heart. They become stronger. They learn to rely on Allah completely. And eventually, they experience joy again even stronger than before.
That’s the beauty of this verse. It teaches us that even in darkness, there is light. Even in difficulty, there is relief.
And the fact that Allah repeats this verse not once, but twice in the same surah shows us that this promise is certain. It’s not just a hope. It’s a guarantee.
So even if you feel like you’re stuck, like there’s no way out just hold on. Keep going. Keep believing. Because the ease is coming, InshaAllah.
You may not see the light yet, but trust that Allah is guiding you. Trust His timing. Trust His wisdom. His mercy is endless, and His plan for you is always better than what you imagined.
So hold on to this verse, deeply. Let it live in your heart.
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”
Because Allah’s promise is always true.
