Every Struggle Has a Purpose: A Reminder to Keep Going
Recently, I came across a quote that deeply touched my heart:
“There is no such thing as a person who has it all perfectly together in this world. Everyone is battling their own test.”
When I read this, I paused. It struck something within me.
Because when we take a moment to look around at work, at home, or even within ourselves, we begin to realize that every person is struggling in their own way. We may not always see it, but it’s there. Some hide it behind smiles, some behind silence, and others behind strength that’s quietly breaking. But the truth remains, we are all going through something.
This quote reminded me of the importance of relying completely on Allah. Behind every challenge, there is wisdom (hikmah). Behind every fear, there is a prayer (doa). Behind every effort, there is a reward (ganjaran). Nothing goes unnoticed in the sight of Allah. The pain, the silent tears, the small steps forward everything is seen and valued.
Life is not meant to be easy. Tests are not sent to break us, but to shape us. They are designed to bring us closer to Allah, to cleanse our hearts, and to remind us of our purpose. When we respond with sincerity, when we put in effort, and when we depend on Allah wholeheartedly we will be guided.
So if today you feel tired, if your heart feels heavy, or if life feels overwhelming, remember this:
You are not alone.
You are not weak for feeling exhausted.
You are not lost just because you’re struggling.
Every hardship carries a purpose. Every test is a sign that Allah wants you to grow, not to give up.
Stay sincere. Keep going. Keep praying. Let your struggles mold you into someone stronger, wiser, and more faithful.
And above all, trust that with Allah, you’re always on the path meant for you.
