8 Habits of Rich and Successful Muslims

Inspired by Saufiyah Ali’s podcast about the 8 Habits of Rich and Successful Muslims. Let’s go through her sharing one by one:

1. Pray on time

Prayer is not just an obligation; it also shows discipline in our life. If you can discipline yourself to pray five times a day, insyaAllah (God willing), you will be able to handle bigger responsibilities too.

2. Practice gratitude

When we constantly say “Alhamdulillah” (All praise be to Allah), our hearts feel content. You will attract more blessings when you acknowledge and appreciate what you already have.

3. Lifelong learning

Successful people never stop learning. It doesn’t matter whether it’s knowledge of the world or knowledge of the Hereafter both are important. Reading, listening to podcasts, or attending classes all of these help us grow.

4. Give regularly

Charity is not a loss of wealth; it purifies and increases it. Allah promises that when we give sincerely, He will replace it with something even better.

5. Set clear intentions

Innamal a’malu binniyat” every action is judged by its intention. If we want to succeed, we must first correct our intentions. Do everything with a purpose that is pleasing to Allah.

6. Work after Fajr

The early morning is highly productive. Wake up early, pray, and start your most important tasks. Our energy is still fresh, and the blessings of the morning are immense.

7. Avoid stagnation

Never stop learning. Never feel satisfied with what we know now. Explore new skills, new ideas, and always upgrade yourself.

8. Align with divine purpose

Don’t do things just for worldly gain. Always ask yourself, “Is what I’m doing bringing me closer to Allah?” That is real success in both this world and the Hereafter.

In conclusion, success is not just about money or fame. It’s about living our life according to our values and our faith in Islam. Let’s start with small steps. Practice these habits, and insyaAllah we will start seeing positive changes in our lives.
